This windshield can be equipped with an information acquisition device that acquires information from outside a host vehicle by emitting and/or receiving light. The windshield is provided with an outer glass plate, an inner glass plate, an intermediate film that is disposed between the outer glass plate and the inner glass plate, a first shielding layer that is layered to the vehicle-exterior-side surface of the inner glass plate, and a second shielding layer that is layered to the vehicle-interior-side surface of the outer glass plate. The first shielding layer has an opening through which the light passes; the second shielding layer is layered to a position at which to shield a portion of the opening; and the second shielding layer and the opening together form a path for the light.

Cette invention concerne un pare-brise qui peut être équipé d'un dispositif d'acquisition d'informations qui acquiert des informations de l'extérieur d'un véhicule hôte par émission et/ou réception de lumière. Le pare-brise est pourvu d'une plaque de verre externe, d'une plaque de verre interne, d'un film intermédiaire qui est disposé entre la plaque de verre externe et la plaque de verre interne, d'une première couche de protection qui est stratifiée sur la surface côté extérieur de véhicule de la plaque de verre interne, et d'une seconde couche de protection qui est stratifiée sur la surface côté intérieur de véhicule de la plaque de verre externe. La première couche de protection a une ouverture à travers laquelle passe la lumière ; la seconde couche de protection est stratifiée dans une position permettant la protection d'une partie de l'ouverture ; et la seconde couche de protection et l'ouverture forment ensemble un trajet pour la lumière.
