This information processing device is connected to a controller device provided with a push button which, by being pushed by a user's finger, moves from a first position to a second position. The information processing device acquires the amount the push button of the controller device has been pushed in, and determines whether or not the push-in amount belongs to a range that excludes the first position and the second position and is configured by two threshold values set between the first position and the second position, and performs prescribed processing on the basis of the results of said determination.

Ce dispositif de traitement d'informations est connecté à un dispositif de commande pourvu d'un bouton-poussoir qui, lorsqu'il est pressé par le doigt d'un utilisateur, se déplace d'une première position à une seconde position. Le dispositif de traitement d'informations acquiert le nombre de fois où le bouton-poussoir du dispositif de commande a été pressé, puis détermine si le nombre de pressions appartient ou non à une plage qui exclut la première position et la seconde position et qui est configuré par deux valeurs seuils définies entre la première position et la seconde position, puis effectue un traitement prescrit d’après les résultats de ladite détermination.

情報処理装置が、ユーザが指で押し込むことにより、第1の位置から第2の位置までの間で移動する押し込みボタンを備えたコントローラ装置に接続される。情報処理装置は、上記コントローラ装置の押し込みボタンの押し込み量を取得し、当該押し込み量が、第1の位置と第2の位置とを含まない、第1の位置と第2の位置との間に設定された2つのしきい値により設定される範囲に属するか否かを判断して、当該判断の結果に基づいて、所定の処理を実行する。
