La présente invention aborde le problème de l'utilisation d'un grand nombre de dispositifs de génération de codes configurés de manière à pouvoir être identifiés. La présente invention concerne un dispositif en contact, ou sensiblement en contact, avec un écran tactile connecté à un premier dispositif de traitement d'informations. Le dispositif en contact comporte une pluralité d'électrodes détectées à l'aide des variations des quantités physiques détectées par l'écran tactile situé sur la surface inférieure d'un boîtier. Le dispositif est conçu de telle sorte que le boîtier, en un matériau conducteur connecté à la pluralité d'électrodes, comprend : le premier dispositif de traitement d'informations qui reconnaît des codes d'électrodes formés par des électrodes détectées par l'écran tactile parmi la pluralité d'électrodes; et une unité de traitement de communication qui entre dans un état connecté sur la base d'au moins certains des codes d'électrodes.
