To provide a cell management circuit having a novel structure, and a power storage device provided with the cell circuit. This power storage device has a plurality of cells connected in series, and a cell management circuit. The cell management circuit has a voltage monitor circuit having a function for acquiring the voltage value between a pair of electrodes in any one of the cells. The voltage monitor circuit has a multiplexer and a buffer circuit for outputting a signal for controlling the multiplexer. The multiplexer and the buffer circuit are constituted from n-channel-type transistors. The n-channel-type transistors are transistors in which a channel formation region has an oxide semiconductor. The multiplexer has a function for holding the output voltage of a cell by placing a transistor in the OFF state.

L'invention concerne un circuit de gestion de cellule présentant une nouvelle structure, ainsi qu'un dispositif de stockage d'énergie comprenant le circuit de cellule. Ledit dispositif de stockage d'énergie comprend une pluralité de cellules connectées en série et un circuit de gestion de cellules. Le circuit de gestion de cellules possède un circuit de surveillance de tension possédant une fonction d'acquisition de la valeur de tension entre une paire d'électrodes dans l'une quelconque des cellules. Le circuit de surveillance de tension possède un multiplexeur et un circuit tampon afin d'émettre en sortie un signal de commande du multiplexeur. Le multiplexeur et le circuit tampon sont constitués de transistors de type à canal n. Les transistors de type à canal n constituent des transistors dans lesquels une région de formation de canal possède un semi-conducteur à oxyde. Le multiplexeur possède une fonction de maintien de la tension de sortie d'une cellule par le placement d'un transistor dans l'état hors tension.
