Abstract

A semicrystalline polyphenylsulfone, has the structure Formula (I) wherein n and R are defined herein. The semicrystalline polyphenylsulfone, which exhibits a crystalline melting point in a range of 215 to 270°C, can be prepared from amorphous polyphenylsulfone using a solvent-induced crystallization method. An additive manufacturing method utilizing particles of the semicrystalline polyphenylsulfone is described.

Une polyphénylsulfone semi-cristalline présente la formule de structure (I), dans laquelle n et R sont tels que définis dans la description. La polyphénylsulfone semi-cristalline, qui présente un point de fusion cristallin dans une plage de 215 à 270 °C, peut être préparée à partir de polyphénylsulfone amorphe à l'aide d'un procédé de cristallisation induite par solvant. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication additive utilisant des particules de la polyphénylsulfone semi-cristalline.
