A process of treating a natural gas stream is provided comprising sending natural gas stream through a first adsorbent bed to remove water and heavy hydrocarbons (C8+) to produce a partially treated gas stream in which the first adsorbent bed is regenerated by a temperature swing adsorption process and then sending the partially treated gas stream through a second adsorption bed to remove carbon dioxide and lighter hydrocarbons (C7-) to produce a purified natural gas stream wherein said second adsorption bed is regenerated by a temperature pressure swing adsorption process.

L'invention concerne un processus de traitement d'un flux de gaz naturel comprenant l'envoi d'un flux de gaz naturel à travers un premier lit adsorbant pour éliminer l'eau et les hydrocarbures lourds (C8+) pour produire un flux de gaz partiellement traité dans lequel le premier lit adsorbant est régénéré par un processus d'adsorption à température modulée et ensuite envoyer le flux de gaz partiellement traité à travers un second lit d'adsorption pour éliminer le dioxyde de carbone et les hydrocarbures plus légers (C7-) pour produire un flux de gaz naturel purifié, ledit second lit d'adsorption étant régénéré par un processus d'adsorption modulée en pression de température.
