Various embodiments of a hermetically-sealed package and a method of forming such package are disclosed. The package includes a housing that extends along a housing axis between a first end and a second end, where the housing includes first and second opaque portions and a transparent portion disposed between the first and second opaque portions. The first opaque portion is hermetically sealed to a first end of the transparent portion and the second opaque portion is hermetically sealed to a second end of the transparent portion. At least one of the first and second opaque portions is hermetically sealed to the transparent portion by a weld ring. The package further includes a power source disposed within the housing, and an inductive coil disposed at least partially within the transparent portion of the housing and electrically connected to the power source.

La présente invention concerne différents modes de réalisation d’un emballage hermétiquement scellé et un procédé de formation d’un tel emballage. L'emballage comprend un boîtier qui s'étend le long d'un axe de boîtier entre une première extrémité et une seconde extrémité, le boîtier comprenant des première et seconde parties opaques et une partie transparente disposée entre les première et seconde parties opaques. La première partie opaque est hermétiquement scellée à une première extrémité de la partie transparente et la seconde partie opaque est hermétiquement scellée à une seconde extrémité de la partie transparente. Au moins l'une des première et seconde parties opaques est hermétiquement scellée à la partie transparente par un anneau de soudure. L'emballage comprend en outre une source d'alimentation disposée à l'intérieur du boîtier, et une bobine inductive disposée au moins partiellement à l'intérieur de la partie transparente du boîtier et connectée électriquement à la source d'alimentation.
