Abstract

A light-emitting disclosure (LED) and an LED array are disclosed. The LED includes a semiconductor junction for emitting light and an optical surface coupled to the semiconductor junction for outputting at least a portion of the light. The optical surface can include a grating structure configured to increase the portion of the light outputted by the optical surface, and/or a redirecting structure configured to redirect the portion of the light to form an output optical beam.

L'invention concerne une diode électroluminescente (DEL) et un réseau de DEL. La DEL comprend une jonction semi-conductrice pour émettre de la lumière et une surface optique couplée à la jonction semi-conductrice pour délivrer en sortie au moins une partie de la lumière. La surface optique peut comprendre une structure de réseau configurée pour augmenter la partie de la lumière émise par la surface optique, et/ou une structure de réorientation configurée pour rediriger la partie de la lumière pour former un faisceau optique de sortie.
