The present invention is a reinforcing member manufactured from synthetic fibers suitable for reinforcing concrete comprises synthetic nylon 6.6 fibers coated with polycarboxylic ether on which no surface treatment is applied and comprising a plurality of filaments wherein the diameter of each one is in range of 20-40 microns, and which are combined such that the linear density will be in range of 140-330 tex. By means of using the reinforcement member of the present invention in the concrete, ductility is provided to the plain concrete, brittle braking is transformed into ductile breaking, and thus deflection ability under load after first crack is provided. Polycarboxylic ether coated Nylon 6.6 three dimensionally distributed in concrete increases the durability of the concrete by minimizing both the plastic and drying shrinkage that may occur in the concrete. The said application provides advantage before the existing applications in terms of labor and cost.

La présente invention concerne un élément de renfort, fabriqué à partir de fibres synthétiques, approprié pour renforcer le béton. Ledit élément de renfort comprend des fibres de nylon synthétiques 6,6 enduites d'éther polycarboxylique sur lequel aucun traitement de surface n'est appliqué et qui comprend une pluralité de filaments, le diamètre de chaque filament étant dans une plage de 20 à 40 microns, et qui sont combinées de telle sorte que la densité linéaire soit dans la plage de 140 à 330 tex Au moyen de l'utilisation de l'élément de renfort de la présente invention dans le béton, une ductilité est fournie au béton ordinaire, une rupture fragile est transformée en une rupture ductile, et ainsi la capacité de déflexion sous charge après la première fissure est fournie. Le nylon 6,6 enduit d'éther polycarboxylique distribué de façon tridimensionnelle dans du béton augmente la durabilité du béton en minimisant à la fois le retrait plastique et le retrait de séchage qui peuvent se produire dans le béton. Ladite application fournit un avantage par rapport aux applications existantes en termes de main-d'œuvre et de coût.
