Abstract

The present disclosure generally relates to a heat exchanger (50) and a heat exchange unit (100) for the heat exchanger (50). The heat exchange unit (100) comprises: a plurality of plain fins (102) stacked perpendicularly to a first plane, such that a first fluid (104) is communicable through the first plane between the fins (102); and a plurality of tubes (112) for communicating a second fluid (110) therethrough for heat exchange with the first fluid (104), the tubes (112) extending perpendicularly through the fins (102), each tube (112) comprising an oblique cross-section (114) having a pair of opposing first sides (114a) and a pair of opposing second sides (114b). For each oblique cross-section (114), the first sides (114a) are perpendicular to the first plane and the second sides (114b) are angled approximately 60° to the first plane, the first sides (114a) being longer than the second sides (114b).

La présente invention concerne de manière générale un échangeur de chaleur (50) et une unité d'échange de chaleur (100) pour l'échangeur de chaleur (50). L'unité d'échange de chaleur (100) comprend : une pluralité d'ailettes simples (102) empilées perpendiculairement à un premier plan, de telle sorte qu'un premier fluide (104) puisse être acheminé à travers le premier plan entre les ailettes (102) ; et une pluralité de tubes (112) pour acheminer un second fluide (110) à travers ceux-ci pour un échange de chaleur avec le premier fluide (104), les tubes (112) s'étendant perpendiculairement à travers les ailettes (102), chaque tube (112) comprenant une section transversale oblique (114) ayant une paire de premiers côtés opposés (114a) et une paire de seconds côtés opposés (114b). Pour chaque section transversale oblique (114), les premiers côtés (114a) sont perpendiculaires au premier plan et les seconds côtés (114b) sont inclinés d'environ 60° par rapport au premier plan, les premiers côtés (114a) étant plus longs que les seconds côtés (114b).
