Provided is a method for manufacturing a hollow engine valve, whereby the surface state of an inside surface for forming a hollow hole is satisfactory, and the volume of the hollow hole can be increased. This manufacturing method is provided with a forging step (S3) for obtaining an intermediate component (7) provided with a cylindrical part (8B) and a half-umbrella-shaped part (9B) continuous with a shaft-end side of the cylindrical part by a forging process, a heat treatment step (S4) for heat treating the intermediate component for a heating retention time (t2) determined in accordance with the wall thickness (t) of the cylindrical part (8B) to soften the intermediate components, a spinning step (S5) for elongating the cylindrical part of the heat-treated intermediate component in the axial direction by a spinning process, and a necking step (S6) for forming a shaft part (2) and an umbrella-shaped part (3) by reducing the diameter of the axially elongated cylindrical part by a drawing process.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une soupape de moteur creuse, l'état de surface d'une surface intérieure permettant de former un trou creux étant satisfaisant et le volume du trou creux pouvant être augmenté. Ce procédé de fabrication comporte une étape de forgeage (S3) destinée à obtenir un composant intermédiaire (7) doté d'une partie cylindrique (8B) et d'une partie en forme de demi-parapluie (9B) continue avec un côté d'extrémité d'arbre de la partie cylindrique par un processus de forgeage, une étape de traitement thermique (S4) destinée à traiter thermiquement le composant intermédiaire pour une durée de rétention de chauffage (t2) déterminée en fonction de l'épaisseur de paroi (t) de la partie cylindrique (8B) pour ramollir les composants intermédiaires, une étape de filage (S5) destinée à allonger la partie cylindrique du composant intermédiaire traité thermiquement dans la direction axiale par un processus de filage et une étape de striction (S6) destinée à former une partie arbre (2) et une partie en forme de parapluie (3) en réduisant le diamètre de la partie cylindrique allongée axialement par un processus d'étirage.

中空孔を形成する内面での表面状態が良好であるとともに、中空孔の容積を大きくすることができる中空エンジンバルブの製造方法を提供する。本製造方法は、鍛造加工により、円筒状部(8B)及び該円筒状部の軸端側に連なる半傘状部(9B)を備える中間部品(7)を得る鍛造工程(S3)と、中間部品を軟化させるために円筒状部(8B)の肉厚(t)に応じて決められる加熱保持時間(t2)で熱処理する熱処理工程(S4)と、熱処理された中間部品の円筒状部をスピニング加工により軸方向に延伸するスピニング工程(S5)と、軸方向に延伸された円筒状部を絞り加工により縮径することで、軸部(2)及び傘状部(3)を形成するネッキング工程(S6)と、を備える。
