This plate glass is characterized by: having a refractive index nd that falls within the range of 1.55 to 2.30, inclusive; the angle formed between the principal surface and the end face falling within the range of 85° to 90°, inclusive; and the surface roughness Ra of the end face not exceeding 1 μm.

Ce verre en plaque est caractérisé en ce qu'il présente un indice de réfraction qui se situe dans la plage de 1,55 à 2,30 inclus; l'angle formé entre la surface principale et la face d'extrémité se situant dans la plage de 85° à 90°, inclus; et la rugosité de surface Ra de la face d'extrémité ne dépassant pas 1 µm.
