Provided is an electronic apparatus that is capable of achieving frame narrowing. This electronic apparatus is provided with: a camera; a first polarization plate; a second polarization plate; a liquid crystal panel that is positioned between the first and second polarization plates; and a controller that controls the liquid crystal panel, wherein the liquid crystal panel has first and second regions superimposed on the camera, and the controller controls a first opening mode in which light is transmitted through the first and second regions, and a second opening mode in which the amount of light transmitted through the first region is set lesser than the amount of light transmitted through the second region.

L'invention concerne un appareil électronique qui est apte à réaliser une réduction d’image. Cet appareil électronique est pourvu : d'une caméra; d'une première plaque de polarisation; d'une seconde plaque de polarisation; d'un écran à cristaux liquides qui est positionné entre la première et la seconde plaque de polarisation; et un dispositif de commande qui commande l’écran à cristaux liquides, l’écran à cristaux liquides présentant une première et une seconde zone qui sont superposées sur la caméra, et le dispositif de commande commandant un premier mode d'ouverture dans lequel de la lumière est transmise à travers la première et la seconde zone, et un second mode d'ouverture dans lequel la quantité de lumière transmise à travers la première zone est réglée pour être inférieure à la quantité de lumière transmise à travers la seconde zone.
