Abstract

The present invention relates to a system for locating at least one RFID tag in space, in particular in an indoor environment. In particular, said system and said method are conceived for locating the position of said object/subject, to which a RFID tag is applied, by the acquisition, on an azimuth plane and on an elevation plane, perpendicular to said azimuth plane, of power values of a signal received from one or more RFID tags present in a spatial region "read" by said reader, where said power values depend on the position of each RFID tag with respect to said reader, and by the acquisition of the distance between said reader and each RFID tag. The present invention relates to also a method for locating at least one RFID in space.

L'invention concerne un système permettant de localiser au moins une étiquette RFID dans l'espace, en particulier dans un environnement intérieur. En particulier, ledit système et ledit procédé sont conçus pour localiser la position dudit objet/sujet, auquel est appliquée une étiquette RFID, par acquisition, sur un plan azimutal et sur un plan d'élévation, perpendiculaire audit plan azimutal, de valeurs de puissance d'un signal reçu d'une ou de plusieurs étiquettes RFID présentes dans une zone spatiale "lue" par ledit lecteur, lesdites valeurs de puissance dépendant de la position de chaque étiquette RFID par rapport audit lecteur, et par acquisition de la distance entre ledit lecteur et chaque étiquette RFID. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de localiser au moins une étiquette RFID dans l'espace.
