Abstract

A guide tube (220) has a guidewire-engaging portion (222) at a distal portion (260) thereof, a first stent (54) surrounding the guide tube, advanceable together with the guide tube into a subject's lumen, a guidewire (12) arranged (i) entering the guide tube from a distal-end (320) opening thereof, (ii) disposed in the guidewire-engaging portion, and (iii) passing out of the guide tube proximally to the guidewire-engaging portion, and a second stent (54), proximal to the first stent, surrounding a proximal portion (240) of the guide tube and the guidewire. The first stent is slidably deployable off the distal end of the guide tube upon the guidewire having laterally exited the guidewire-engaging portion, and the second stent is slidably deployable off the distal end of the guide tube subsequently to deployment of the first stent, without the guidewire having been moved proximally. Other applications are also described.

Un tube de guidage (220) a une partie de mise en prise de fil-guide (222) au niveau d'une partie distale (260) de celui-ci, un premier tuteur (54) entourant le tube de guidage, pouvant avancer conjointement avec le tube de guidage dans la lumière d'un sujet, un fil-guide (12) agencé (i) dans le tube de guidage à partir d'une ouverture d'extrémité distale (320) de celui-ci, (ii) disposé dans la partie de mise en prise de fil-guide, et (iii) à l'extérieur du tube de guidage de manière proximale par rapport à la partie de mise en prise de fil-guide, et un second tuteur (54), proximal au premier tuteur, entourant une partie proximale (240) du tube de guidage et du fil-guide. Le premier tuteur peut être déployé de manière coulissante à partir de l'extrémité distale du tube de guidage sur le fil-guide ayant latéralement sorti de la partie de mise en prise du fil-guide, et le second tuteur peut être déployé de manière coulissante hors de l'extrémité distale du tube de guidage par la suite au déploiement du premier tuteur, sans que le fil-guide ait été déplacé de manière proximale. L’invention concerne également d'autres applications.
