The present invention concerns a method for protecting a network capable of being isolated from a main network, said network comprising: - a device for producing static electricity supplying the network; - a start protection suitable for switching off the portion of the network downstream from said protection as a function of the value of current passing through it; - an electricity consumption load downstream of the start protection; - a means for adjusting the start protection suitable for adjusting, in time and in intensity, a magnetic and/or thermal triggering threshold of said start protection; said method comprising the configuring of the adjustment means such that the threshold characteristics of magnetic and/or thermal triggering threshold of the start protection are lower than a curve of time vs. current passing through the protection, representing the characteristic in overload of the device for producing static electricity.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de protection d'un réseau susceptible d'être isolé d'un réseau principal, ledit réseau comprenant : -un dispositif de production d'électricité statique alimentant le réseau; -une protection de départ adapté pour mettre la portion de réseau, en aval de ladite protection, hors tension en fonction de la valeur de courant qui la traverse; -une charge de consommation d'électricité en aval de la protection de départ; -un moyen de réglage de la protection de départ adapté à régler en temps et en intensité, un seuil de déclenchement magnétique et/ou thermique de ladite protection de départ; ledit procédé comportant la configuration du moyen de réglage telle que les caractéristiques de seuil de déclenchement magnétique et/ou thermique de la protection de départ sont inférieures à une courbe temps/courant traversant la protection représentant la caractéristique en surcharge du dispositif de production d'électricité statique.
