Abstract:
(EN) A monitoring apparatus for monitoring a multiphase flow in a pipe using magnetic induction tomography, the apparatus comprising a tubular member adapted for fitting around a pipe defining a flow conduit, wherein the tubular member has outer and inner tubular surfaces surrounding a central longitudinal axis of the tubular member, the inner tubular surface defining a central bore extending along the central longitudinal axis for receiving a pipe therealong, wherein the outer tubular surface has a polygonal cross-section and is comprised of an annular array of a plurality of planar faces, each planar face extending parallel to the central longitudinal axis, wherein at least two of the planar faces each includes a respective coil mounting portion on which is mounted a respective electrical coil, wherein the coil mounting portion comprises a recess in the tubular outer surface which receives a respective electrical coil.
(FR) Appareil de surveillance pour surveiller un écoulement à phases multiples dans un tuyau à l'aide d'une tomographie par induction magnétique, l'appareil comprenant un élément tubulaire conçu pour s'ajuster autour d'un tuyau délimitant un conduit d'écoulement, l'élément tubulaire ayant des surfaces tubulaires extérieure et intérieure entourant un axe longitudinal central de l'élément tubulaire, la surface tubulaire intérieure délimitant un trou central s'étendant le long de l'axe longitudinal central pour recevoir un tuyau le long de celui-ci, la surface tubulaire extérieure ayant une section transversale polygonale et étant constituée d'un réseau annulaire d'une pluralité de faces planes, chaque face plane s'étendant parallèlement à l'axe longitudinal central, au moins deux des faces planes comprenant chacune une partie de montage de bobine respective sur laquelle est montée une bobine électrique respective, la partie de montage de bobine comprenant un évidement dans la surface extérieure tubulaire qui reçoit une bobine électrique respective.
