Abstract

The present invention concerns a pressure vessel for storing a fluid at high pressure. The vessel comprises a liner and a composite laminate shell coupled to an outer surface of the liner. The liner has an inner surface delineating an inner wall of a cavity and the cavity comprises a dome-shaped region having a central opening. An access channel is traversing the composite laminate shell for providing an access to the cavity. The central opening is facing an entrance of the access channel. A boss connector, located or partly located within the access channel, comprises an inner bore part configured for receiving a valve or a plug, and an outer neck part comprising a plurality of interspaced rib elements protruding into the composite laminate shell for optimizing a pressure distribution in said laminate shell.

La présente invention concerne un récipient sous pression pour stocker un fluide à haute pression. Le récipient comprend une doublure et une coque stratifiée composite couplée à une surface extérieure de la doublure. La doublure a une surface interne délimitant une paroi interne d'une cavité et la cavité comprend une région en forme de dôme ayant une ouverture centrale. Un canal d'accès traverse la coque stratifiée composite pour fournir un accès à la cavité. L'ouverture centrale est opposée à l'entrée du canal d'accès. Un connecteur de bossage, situé ou partiellement situé à l'intérieur du canal d'accès, comprend une partie d'alésage interne conçue pour recevoir une valve ou une fiche, et une partie de col externe comprenant une pluralité d'éléments de nervure espacés les uns des autres faisant saillie dans la coque stratifiée composite pour optimiser une distribution de pression dans ladite coque stratifiée.
