Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for real-time monitoring of thermal time evolution of a furnace adapted to the thermal softening of flat glass articles. The invention also relates to a system for carrying out the said method. The method of the invention is particularly convenient for high productions rates. It allows reducing the reacting time between the detection of temperature drifts in the furnace and the adjustment of the settings of said furnace. The risk for a production shutdown or disruption is reduced.

La présente invention a trait à un procédé de surveillance en temps réel de l'évolution thermique d'un four conçu pour l'adoucissement d'articles en verre plats. La présente invention concerne également un système servant à mettre en œuvre ledit procédé. Le procédé selon l'invention convient particulièrement à des taux de production élevés. Il permet de réduire le temps de réaction entre la détection de dérives de température dans le four et l'ajustement des réglages dudit four. Le risque d'arrêt ou d'interruption de la production est limité.
