Abstract:
(EN) A dryer for drying a liquid feed (11) into a powder (35) comprise a drying chamber (3) defined by a chamber wall (5) including a bottom wall portion (7); a feed inlet for receiving the liquid feed (11) and dispersing particulate feed (13) into the drying chamber (3); at least one air inlet (15) for entering drying air into the drying chamber (3); and at least one drying chamber outlet (17) for dried powder and/or spend drying air from the drying chamber (3). The feed inlet comprises a decanter centrifuge (9) with an axis of rotation (19); a first axial end (21); a second axial end (23); and a solid phase outlet at the first axial end (21).
(FR) Cette invention concerne un séchoir pour sécher une charge liquide (11) en une poudre (35), comprenant : une chambre de séchage (3) définie par une paroi de chambre (5) comprenant une partie de paroi inférieure (7) ; une entrée de charge pour recevoir la charge liquide (11) et disperser une charge particulaire (13) dans la chambre de séchage (3) ; au moins une entrée d'air (15) pour introduire de l'air de séchage dans la chambre de séchage (3) ; et au moins une sortie de chambre de séchage (17) pour la poudre sèche et/ou l'air de séchage usé en provenance de la chambre de séchage (3). L'entrée de charge comprend une centrifugeuse de décantation (9) ayant : un axe de rotation (19) ; une première extrémité axiale (21) ; une seconde extrémité axiale (23) ; et une sortie de phase solide à la première extrémité axiale (21).
