Abstract:
(EN) The invention provides a cathode for the nitrogen reduction reaction, comprising an electrically conductive substrate and an electrocatalytic composition on the substrate, wherein the electrocatalytic composition comprises: a support material present in one or more crystalline phases; and metallic clusters dispersed on the support material, the metallic clusters comprising at least one metal selected from ruthenium, iron, rhodium, iridium and molybdenum, wherein at least 80 mass % of the support material is present in a semiconductive crystalline phase having a conduction band minimum energy below (more positive than) -0.3 V relative to the normal hydrogen electrode (NHE).
(FR) L'invention concerne une cathode pour la réaction de réduction d'azote, comprenant un substrat électroconducteur et une composition électrocatalytique sur le substrat, la composition électrocatalytique comprenant : un matériau de support présent dans une ou plusieurs phases cristallines ; et des agrégats métalliques dispersés sur le matériau de support, les agrégats métalliques comprenant au moins un métal choisi parmi le ruthénium, le fer, le rhodium, l'iridium et le molybdène, au moins 80 % en masse du matériau de support étant présent dans une phase cristalline semi-conductrice ayant une énergie minimale de bande de conduction au-dessous (plus positive que) -0,3 V par rapport à l'électrode à hydrogène normale (NHE).
