Abstract
(EN) The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a multimodal polyolefin polymer in a first polymerization reactor and a second polymerization reactor connected in series, wherein a first polyolefin polymer is prepared in the first polymerization reactor in suspension in the presence of hydrogen and a second polyolefin polymer is prepared in the second polymerization reactor in the presence of a lower concentration of hydrogen than in the first polymerization reactor, the process comprising: a) withdrawing a suspension of solid polyolefin particles in a suspension medium from the first polymerization reactor, wherein the suspension medium comprises hydrogen and a hydrocarbon mixture having an initial boiling point of at least 50 °C and a final boiling point of at most 120 ºC; b) feeding the suspension to a flash drum having a pressure controlled by a vacuum pump, wherein the pressure of the flash drum is less than 0.1 MPa; c) vaporizing a part of the suspension medium in the flash drum to obtain a hydrogen-depleted suspension and d) withdrawing the hydrogen-depleted suspension from the flash drum and feeding it to the second polymerization reactor.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un polymère de polyoléfine multimodale dans un premier réacteur de polymérisation et un second réacteur de polymérisation montés en série, un premier polymère de polyoléfine étant préparé dans le premier réacteur de polymérisation en suspension en présence d'hydrogène et un second polymère de polyoléfine étant préparé dans le réacteur de polymérisation en présence d'une concentration d'hydrogène inférieure à celle qu'elle est dans le premier réacteur de polymérisation, le procédé comprenant : a) l'extraction d'une suspension de particules de polyoléfine solides dans un milieu de suspension à partir du premier réacteur de polymérisation, le milieu de suspension comprenant de l'hydrogène et un mélange d'hydrocarbures présentant un point d'ébullition initial d'au moins 50 °C et un point d'ébullition final d'au plus 120 °C ; b) l'introduction de la suspension dans un ballon de détente présentant une pression régulée par une pompe à vide, la pression du ballon de détente étant inférieure à 0,1 MPa ; c) la vaporisation d'une partie du milieu de suspension dans le ballon de détente pour obtenir une suspension épuisée en hydrogène, et d) l'extraction de la suspension épuisée en hydrogène à partir du ballon de détente et son introduction dans le second réacteur de polymérisation.
