Abstract
(EN) A gas generator provided with: a housing; an igniter disposed inside the housing; a combustion chamber in which the igniter is housed and which is filled with a gas-generating agent that is burned by said igniter; gas discharge holes that are provided in the housing and connect the interior and the exterior of the housing; and a cylindrical filter disposed between the combustion chamber and the gas discharge holes. In the generator, the filter is positioned inside the housing so that a portion of at least one end face of the two end faces of the filter in the axial direction is in contact with and supported thereby, and an outer area located to the outside, in the radial direction, of said contact-supported area adjoins a specified space while a specified outer circumferential area of the outer circumferential surface of the filter near the at least one end face is in contact with and supported thereby. As a result of such a configuration, it is possible to inhibit combustion gas short paths in gas generators equipped with a filter.
(FR) Un générateur de gaz comprend : un boîtier; un allumeur disposé à l'intérieur du boîtier; une chambre de combustion dans laquelle l'allumeur est logé et qui est remplie d'un agent de génération de gaz qui est brûlé par ledit allumeur; des trous de décharge de gaz qui sont disposés dans le boîtier et relient l'intérieur et l'extérieur du boîtier; et un filtre cylindrique disposé entre la chambre de combustion et les trous de décharge de gaz. Dans le générateur, le filtre est positionné à l'intérieur du boîtier de telle sorte qu'une partie d'au moins une face d'extrémité des deux faces d'extrémité du filtre dans la direction axiale est en contact avec et supportée par celui-ci, et une zone externe située à l'extérieur, dans la direction radiale, de ladite zone supportée par contact est adjacente à un espace spécifié tandis qu'une zone circonférentielle externe spécifiée de la surface circonférentielle externe du filtre à proximité de la ou des faces d'extrémité est en contact avec et supportée par celui-ci. En conséquence d'une telle configuration, il est possible d'empêcher des chemins courts de gaz de combustion dans des générateurs de gaz équipés d'un filtre.
(JA) ハウジングと、ハウジング内に配置される点火器と、点火器が収容され且つ該点火器により燃焼されるガス発生剤が充填される燃焼室と、ハウジングに設けられ、該ハウジングの内部と外部とを連通するガス排出孔と、燃焼室とガス排出孔との間に配置される筒状のフィルタと、を備える、ガス発生器において、フィルタは、該フィルタの軸方向の両端面のうち少なくとも一方の端面の一部が接触して支持されるとともに、該接触支持された部位よりも半径方向外側に位置する外側部位が所定空間と隣接するように、且つ、該フィルタの外周面のうち該少なくとも一方の端面近傍の所定外周部位が接触して支持されるように、ハウジング内に位置決めされるようにした。このような構成により、フィルタを具備するガス発生器における燃焼ガスのショートパスを抑制し得る。
