Abstract
(EN) A method for operating a wellbore system for producing hydrocarbons from a wellbore in an underground formation in which a working fluid is circulated through the wellbore during operation. The method includes detecting a loss of the working fluid, allocating the loss to one or more layers of the underground formation, determining a ballooning potential of the wellbore based on the allocated loss and a lithology of the one or more layers of the underground formation, detecting an increase in a return flow of the working fluid from the wellbore, and comparing the increase in the return flow to the ballooning potential of the wellbore to determine whether the increase in the return flow is due to an influx of formation fluid into the wellbore. Remedial action may be taken in response to a determination that the increase in the return flow is due to an influx of formation fluid.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de fonctionnement d’un système de puits de forage pour produire des hydrocarbures à partir d’un puits de forage dans une formation souterraine dans laquelle un fluide de travail est mis en circulation à travers le puits de forage pendant le fonctionnement. Le procédé comprend la détection d’une perte du fluide de travail, l’attribution de la perte à une ou plusieurs couches de la formation souterraine, la détermination d’un potentiel de ballonnement du puits de forage sur la base de la perte attribuée et d’une lithologie de la ou des plusieurs couches de la formation souterraine, la détection d’une augmentation d’un flux de retour du fluide de travail provenant du puits de forage, et la comparaison de l’augmentation de l’écoulement de retour au potentiel de ballonnement du puits de forage pour déterminer si l’augmentation du flux de retour est due à un afflux de fluide de formation dans le puits de forage. Une mesure corrective peut être prise en réponse à la détermination du fait que l’augmentation du flux de retour est due à un afflux de fluide de formation.
