Abstract
(EN) Systems and methods for managing nodes in mesh networks are provided. A critical node may determine a status of a backhaul connection prior to joining a PAN. A critical path may be created and maintained that includes the critical node and any intervening nodes between the critical node and the root. A critical node may switch PANs when a backhaul connection becomes unavailable. The switch may be facilitated by a node on the critical path other than the critical node. A node may switch PANs and coordinate the switch with its child nodes.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés pour la gestion de nœuds dans des réseaux maillés. Un nœud critique peut déterminer un état d'une connexion de raccordement avant un rattachement à un PAN. Un chemin critique peut être créé et maintenu, le chemin comprenant le nœud critique et des nœuds intermédiaires entre le nœud critique et la racine. Un nœud critique peut commuter des PAN lorsqu'une connexion de raccordement devient indisponible. Le commutateur peut être facilité par un nœud sur le chemin critique, autre que le nœud critique. Un nœud peut commuter des PAN et coordonner le commutateur avec ses nœuds enfants.
