Abstract
(EN) A printing device containing a heating apparatus that heats an image substrate, a temperature sensor associated with the image substrate and a processor communicatively coupled to the heating apparatus. The processor determines the heating power of the heating apparatus, compares the heating power to a predetermined power range, determines a status of the temperature sensor when the heating power is outside the predetermined power range, and triggers a response mode of the printing device based on the determined status of the temperature sensor.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'impression contenant un appareil de chauffage qui chauffe un substrat d'image, un capteur de température associé au substrat d'image et un processeur couplé en communication à l'appareil de chauffage. Le processeur détermine la puissance de chauffage de l'appareil de chauffage, compare la puissance de chauffage à une plage de puissance prédéterminée, détermine un état du capteur de température lorsque la puissance de chauffage se situe à l'extérieur de la plage de puissance prédéterminée et déclenche un mode de réponse du dispositif d'impression sur la base de l'état déterminé du capteur de température.
