The invention relates to the processing of an input hologram HE associated with an input plane PE, in order to obtain an output hologram HS displayable on a holographic screen SLM placed in a plane called the output plane PS of a display system SRH, viewable from a viewing plane PV of said system. The method comprises the following steps: • - Receiving E1 the input hologram and a position of the input plane; • - Obtaining E4 a first transfer matrix MEX representative of a propagation between the input plane and the viewing plane; • - Obtaining E5 a second transfer matrix MIN representative of a propagation between the viewing plane and the output plane; • - Computing E6 an overall matrix MG of transfer of a light field emitted by the input hologram, between the input plane and the output plane, by taking the product of the two matrices; • - Converting E7 the input hologram into the output hologram by applying an operator dependent on the input hologram and on the screen.

L'invention concerne le traitement d'un hologramme d'entrée HE associé à un plan d'entrée PE, pour obtenir un hologramme de sortie HS affichable sur un écran holographique SLM placé dans un plan dit de sortie PS d'un système de restitution SRH, visualisable depuis un plan de visualisation PV dudit système. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes: • - Réception E1 de l'hologramme d'entrée et d'une pose du plan d'entrée; • - Obtention E4 d'une première matrice de transfert M EX, représentative d'une propagation entre le plan d'entrée et le plan de visualisation; • - Obtention E5 d'une deuxième matrice de transfert M IN représentative d'une propagation entre le plan de visualisation et le plan de sortie; • - Calcul E6 d'une matrice globale M G de transfert d'un champ lumineux émis par l'hologramme d'entrée entre le plan d'entrée et le plan de sortie, par produit des deux matrices; • - Transformation E7 de l'hologramme d'entrée en l'hologramme de sortie par application de l'opérateur fonction de l'hologramme d'entrée et de l'écran.
