A method by which a 360-degree video reception device processes 360-degree video data, according to the present invention, comprises the steps of: acquiring information on pictures of 360-degree videos at a plurality of view points and metadata on the 360-degree videos; decoding the pictures on the basis of the metadata and the information on the pictures and deriving an image for a first view point of a user; deriving a region of interest (ROI) for the first view point and a second view point on the basis of the metadata; and processing the image and the ROI on the basis of the metadata so as to render same by using a 3D space with the first view point as the center thereof, wherein the metadata includes information on a hotspot of the first view point and information on the ROI.

L’invention concerne un procédé pour le traitement de données vidéo à 360° par un dispositif de réception vidéo à 360°. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à : acquérir des informations relatives à des images de vidéos à 360° à une pluralité de points de vue, et des métadonnées relatives aux vidéos à 360° ; décoder les images sur la base des métadonnées et des informations relatives aux images, et déduire une image pour un premier point de vue d'un utilisateur ; déduire une région d'intérêt (ROI) pour le premier point de vue et un second point de vue sur la base des métadonnées ; et traiter l'image et la ROI sur la base des métadonnées de sorte à les restituer au moyen d’un espace 3D ayant le premier point de vue comme centre, les métadonnées comprenant des informations relatives à un point d’accès public du premier point de vue et des informations relatives à la ROI.

본 발명에 따른 360도 비디오 수신 장치에 의하여 수행되는 360도 비디오 데이터 처리 방법은 복수의 뷰포인트들에서의 360도 비디오들의 픽처들에 대한 정보 및 상기 360도 비디오들에 대한 메타데이터를 획득하는 단계, 상기 메타데이터 및 상기 픽처들에 대한 정보를 기반으로 상기 픽처들을 디코딩하고, 사용자의 제1 뷰포인트에 대한 이미지를 도출하는 단계, 상기 메타데이터를 기반으로 상기 제1 뷰포인트 및 제2 뷰포인트에 대한 ROI(Region of Interest)를 도출하는 단계, 상기 메타데이터를 기반으로 상기 이미지 및 상기 ROI를 처리하여 상기 제1 뷰포인트를 중심으로 하는 3D 공간으로 렌더링하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 메타데이터는 상기 제1 뷰포인트의 핫스팟(hotspot)에 대한 정보 및 상기 ROI 에 대한 정보를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
