The present invention pertains to an information processing device, a method, and a program capable of reducing the processing load on the delivery destination side while reducing the amount of information transmitted. The information processing device includes: an acquisition unit that acquires low-precision position information indicating the position of an object in a space where a user is present with a first level of precision and acquires additional information for obtaining user-position-based position information indicating the position of the object in the space with a second level of precision higher than the first level of precision; and a position information calculation unit that calculates position information on the basis of the low-precision position information and the additional information. The present invention can be applied to an information processing device.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de traitement d'informations, un procédé et un programme capables de réduire la charge de traitement sur le côté de destination de livraison tout en réduisant la quantité d'informations transmises. Le dispositif de traitement d'informations inclut : une unité d'acquisition qui acquiert des informations de position de faible précision indiquant la position d'un objet dans un espace où un utilisateur est présent avec un premier niveau de précision et acquiert des informations supplémentaires pour obtenir des informations de position reposant sur la position de l'utilisateur indiquant la position de l'objet dans l'espace avec un second niveau de précision supérieur au premier niveau de précision ; et une unité de calcul d'informations de position qui calcule des informations de position sur la base des informations de position de faible précision et des informations supplémentaires. La présente invention peut être appliquée à un dispositif de traitement d’informations.
