A tire monitoring system may include a carrier having a base, first and second sensor elements adjacent to the base of the carrier, a power source, and a controller. At least a portion of one of the first and second sensor elements may be between the power source and the base of the carrier. Moreover, the controller may be coupled with the power source and with at least one of the first and second sensor elements. In addition, the controller may be configured to generate tread wear information based on an electrical response of at least one of the first and second sensor elements. Related tire assemblies are also discussed.

La présente invention concerne un système de surveillance de pneu qui peut comprendre un support ayant une base, des premier et second éléments de capteur adjacents à la base du support, une source d'alimentation et un dispositif de commande. Au moins une partie de l'un des premier et second éléments de capteur peut se trouver entre la source d'alimentation et la base du support. De plus, le dispositif de commande peut être couplé à la source d'alimentation et à au moins l'un des premier et second éléments de capteur.
