Provided is a communication method that enables communication between various apparatuses. This communication method includes: determining whether or not a terminal can perform visible light communication (step SG11); when it is determined that the terminal can perform visible light communication (Yes in step GS11), acquiring an image for decoding by imaging a luminance-varying subject using an image sensor, and acquiring first identification information transmitted by the subject from a stripe pattern appearing in the image for decoding (step SG12); and, when it is determined in the determination of visible light communication that the terminal cannot perform visible light communication (No in step SG11), acquiring a captured image by imaging the subject using the image sensor, specifying a prescribed specific region by detecting edges of the captured image, and acquiring second identification information transmitted by the subject from a line pattern in the specific region (step SG13).

L'invention concerne un procédé de communication qui permet une communication entre différents appareils. Ce procédé de communication consiste à : déterminer si un terminal peut effectuer ou non une communication par lumière visible (étape SG11) ; lorsqu'il est déterminé que le terminal peut effectuer une communication par lumière visible (Oui dans l'étape GS11), acquérir une image pour un décodage par imagerie d'un sujet à luminance variable en utilisant un capteur d'image, et acquérir des premières informations d'identification transmises par le sujet à partir d'un motif à bandes apparaissant dans l'image en vue du décodage (étape SG12) ; et lorsqu'il est déterminé dans la détermination d'une communication par lumière visible que le terminal ne peut pas effectuer une communication par lumière visible (Non dans l'étape SG11), acquérir une image capturée par imagerie du sujet en utilisant le capteur d'image, spécifier une région spécifique prescrite par détection des bords de l'image capturée, et acquérir des deuxièmes informations d'identification transmises par le sujet à partir d'un motif à lignes dans la région spécifique (étape SG13).

多様な機器間の通信を可能とする通信方法を提供する。この通信方法では、端末が可視光通信を行うことが可能か否かを判断し(ステップSG11)、端末が可視光通信を行うことが可能と判断した場合に(ステップSG11のYes)、イメージセンサにより、輝度変化する被写体を撮像することにより、復号用画像を取得し、その復号用画像に現れる縞模様から被写体が送信する第1の識別情報を取得し(ステップSG12)、可視光通信の判断において、端末が可視光通信を行うことが可能でないと判断した場合に(ステップSG11のNo)、イメージセンサにより、被写体を撮像することによって撮像画像を取得し、その撮像画像のエッジ検出を行うことで、所定の特定領域を特定し、その特定領域のラインパターンから被写体が送信する第2の識別情報を取得する(ステップSG13)。
