The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a glass panel unit and a method for manufacturing a glass window, in which there is minimal release of unwanted gas. This method for manufacturing a glass panel unit is provided with an adhesive arrangement step, a glass composite producing step, an internal space formation step, a pressure reduction step, and a reduced-pressure space formation step. In the adhesive arrangement step, a thermal adhesive is arranged on a second panel 30. In the glass composite producing step, a glass composite including a first panel, the second panel 30, and the thermal adhesive is produced. In the internal-space formation step, the glass composite is heated to melt the thermal adhesive, and an internal space (first space 510 and second space 520) is formed. In the pressure reduction step, a gas in the internal space is discharged and the pressure of the internal space is reduced. In the reduced-pressure space formation step, a portion of a first portion 410 or a second portion 420 is heated and a force is applied thereto to deform the same, whereby an exhaust path 600 is blocked, and a sealed reduced-pressure space 50 is formed.

L'objet de la présente invention est de pourvoir à un procédé de fabrication d'une unité de panneau de verre et à un procédé de fabrication d'une fenêtre, caractérisé par une libération minimale de gaz indésirable. Ce procédé de fabrication d'une unité de panneau de verre comprend une étape d'agencement d'adhésif, une étape de production de composite à base de verre, une étape de formation d'un espace interne, une étape de réduction de pression et une étape de formation d'un espace à pression réduite. Dans l'étape d'agencement d'adhésif, un adhésif thermique est agencé sur un second panneau 30. Dans l'étape de production de composite à base de verre, un composite à base de verre comprenant un premier panneau, le second panneau 30 et l'adhésif thermique est produit. Dans l'étape de formation d'un espace interne, le composite à base de verre est chauffé pour faire fondre l'adhésif thermique, et un espace interne (premier espace 510 et second espace 520) est formé. Dans l'étape de réduction de pression, un gaz présent dans l'espace interne est évacué et la pression de l'espace interne est réduite.
