The present invention provides a structure capable of, without providing a spring between a casing and an electrode of a developing cartridge, bringing the electrode of the developing cartridge and an electrode of a drum unit into contact with each other when the developing cartridge is attached to the drum unit. This developing cartridge 2 comprises a first electrode 24 electrically connected to a developing roller shaft, and a first boss 25. When the developing cartridge 2 is attached to a drum unit, the developing cartridge 2 rotates around the first boss 25 with respect to the drum unit. Consequently, part of the first electrode 24 comes into contact with a second electrode 16 of the drum unit 1. The first electrode 24 is thus brought into contact with the second electrode 16 using a rotation motion of the developing cartridge 2 around the first boss 25. Accordingly, the first electrode 24 and the second electrode 16 can be brought into contact with each other without providing a spring between a casing and the first electrode 24 of the developing cartridge 2.

La présente invention concerne une structure qui permet de mettre une électrode d'une cartouche de développement et une électrode d'une unité de tambour en contact l'une avec l'autre lorsque la cartouche de développement est fixée à l'unité de tambour, et ce sans fournir de ressort entre un boîtier et l'électrode de la cartouche de développement. Cette cartouche de développement (2) comprend une première électrode (24) électriquement connectée à un arbre de rouleau de développement, et un premier bossage (25). Lorsque la cartouche de développement (2) est fixée à une unité de tambour, la cartouche de développement (2) tourne autour du premier bossage (25) par rapport à l'unité de tambour. Par conséquent, une partie de la première électrode (24) vient en contact avec une seconde électrode (16) de l'unité de tambour (1). La première électrode (24) est ainsi mise en contact avec la seconde électrode (16) grâce à un mouvement de rotation de la cartouche de développement (2) autour du premier bossage (25).
