Provided are a recording method and a recording device that make it possible to easily record information even in a magnetic recording medium in which epsilon iron oxide particles having high coercivity are used as a magnetic recording material. This recording device 10 is configured so as to perform the following: apply an external magnetic field Ho that causes the magnetization 3 of epsilon iron oxide particles to become inclined in a particle dispersion 1 including epsilon iron oxide particles; and irradiate with light L1 that excites the magnetization 3. In this way, although it is not possible to reverse the magnetization 3 using only an external magnetic field, the synergy of the inclination of the magnetization 3 and the photoexcitation of the magnetization 3 enables the recording device 10 to reverse said magnetization 3.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'enregistrement et un dispositif d'enregistrement qui permettent d'enregistrer facilement des informations même dans un support d'enregistrement magnétique dans lequel des particules d'oxyde de fer epsilon présentant une coercitivité élevée sont utilisées en tant que matériau d'enregistrement magnétique. Ce dispositif d'enregistrement est configuré de façon à effectuer les étapes suivantes : appliquer un champ magnétique externe Ho qui provoque l'inclinaison de la magnétisation 3 de particules d'oxyde de fer epsilon dans une dispersion de particules 1 comprenant des particules d'oxyde de fer epsilon ; et irradier avec la lumière L1 qui excite l'aimantation 3. De cette manière, bien qu'il n'est pas possible d'inverser la magnétisation 3 en utilisant uniquement un champ magnétique externe, la synergie de l'inclinaison de la magnétisation 3 et la photo-excitation de la magnétisation 3 permet au dispositif d'enregistrement 10 d'inverser ladite magnétisation 3.

高い保磁力を有したイプシロン酸化鉄粒子を磁気記録材料として使用した磁気記録媒体でも、容易に情報を記録できる記録方法及び記録装置を提案する。本発明の記録装置10は、イプシロン酸化鉄粒子を含む粒子分散体1に、イプシロン酸化鉄粒子の磁化3を傾けさせる外部磁場Hoを印加し、磁化3を励起させる光L1を照射するようにした。これにより、記録装置10は、磁化3の傾きと磁化3の光励起との相乗効果によって、外部磁場だけでは反転させることができない磁化3を反転させることができる。
