(FR) PROCÉDÉ ET APPAREIL POUR LE TRAITEMENT DE BIOMASSE
Abstract
(EN) In a process for the treatment of biomass, the moisture content of the biomass feedstock is reduced, if necessary, to less than 12%; the dried feedstock is fed in vacuumed portions to a heat treatment roasting furnace (7) and roasted at heat treatment temperature in the range of 220-300°C, predetermined in function of the target calorific value of the end-product; the end-product is delivered from the roasting furnace (7) to the cooler (8) and cooled to below its ignition temperature, then withdrawn for further utilisation. Before feeding the first portion of the dried feedstock into the roasting furnace (7), the interior of the roasting furnace is evacuated; the gaseous medium generated during roasting is disposed of; and during heat treatment of the feedstock in the roasting furnace (7), the pressure in the roasting furnace (7) is maintained continuously at a pressure exceeding 1.0 bar (a) by no more than 200 mbar(a). The drying air stream (a) used to reduce the moisture content of the raw material is warmed by the heating air stream (e) exiting the roasting furnace (7), the warmed-up cooling medium stream (f) used for cooling the end-product and the heat energy generated by the combustion of the gaseous medium generated during roasting; the cooling medium stream (f) used to cool the end-product is pre-cooled by the drying air stream (a) used to reduce the moisture content of the feedstock. The invention also concerns a device for implementing the biomass treatment method.
(FR) Dans le procédé de traitement de biomasse de la présente invention, la teneur en humidité de la charge d'alimentation de biomasse est réduite, si nécessaire, à moins de 12 %; la charge d'alimentation séchée est introduite en parties aspirées vers un four de torréfaction de traitement thermique (7) et est torréfiée à une température de traitement thermique dans la plage de 220 à 300°C, prédéterminée en fonction de la valeur calorifique cible du produit final; le produit final est délivré à partir du four de torréfaction (7) au refroidisseur (8) et est refroidi à une température inférieure à sa température d'allumage, puis retiré pour une utilisation ultérieure. Avant d'alimenter la première partie de la charge d'alimentation séchée dans le four de torréfaction (7), l'intérieur du four de torréfaction est évacué; le milieu gazeux généré pendant le torréfaction est éliminé; et pendant le traitement thermique de la charge d'alimentation dans le four de torréfaction (7), la pression dans le four de torréfaction (7) est maintenue en continu à une pression ne dépassant 1,0 bar (a) d'au plus 200 mbar (a). Le courant d'air de séchage (a) utilisé pour réduire la teneur en humidité de la charge d'alimentation est chauffé par le courant d'air de chauffage (e) sortant du four de torréfaction (7), le flux de milieu de refroidissement réchauffé (f) est utilisé pour refroidir le produit final et l'énergie thermique est générée par la combustion du milieu gazeux généré pendant la torréfaction; le flux de milieu de refroidissement (f) utilisé pour refroidir le produit final est pré-refroidi par le courant d'air de séchage (a) utilisé pour réduire la teneur en humidité de la charge d'alimentation. L'invention concerne en outre un dispositif pour la mise en œuvre dudit procédé de traitement de biomasse.
