In one example of the disclosure, a plot to be printed at a digital printer is received. A designation of a target area of the plot is received. A first printing is caused. The first printing is a printing of the target area without printing non-target areas of the plot. Quality data indicative of the quality of the printed target area is received. If the indicated quality is above a predefined threshold, a second printing is caused resulting in printing of the entire plot.

Dans un exemple de l'invention, un tracé à imprimer au niveau d'une imprimante numérique est reçu. Une désignation d'une zone cible du tracé est reçue. Une première impression est provoquée. La première impression est une impression de la zone cible sans imprimer des zones non cibles du tracé. Des données de qualité indicatives de la qualité de la zone cible imprimée sont reçues. Si la qualité indiquée est supérieure à un seuil prédéfini, une seconde impression est provoquée, se traduisant par l'impression du tracé tout entier.
