A centrifugal filter unit for an apparatus, wherein the apparatus is for use in the treatment of a substrate with a treatment formulation, the centrifugal filter unit comprising; a) a housing having an outlet configured to allow a filtrate to exit the centrifugal filter unit; b) a filter rotatably mounted in the housing, wherein the filter comprises a first end proximate a first end of the housing, a second end proximate a second end of the housing and a side wall connecting the first end of the filter and the second end of the filter, wherein the first end, second end and side wall of the filter define a filter chamber, and wherein the side wall comprises perforations configured to allow liquid to pass through but to prevent solid material from passing through; c) a lid configured to substantially seal the first end of the housing; d) an inlet configured to allow a feed to enter the filter chamber; e) a cap at the first end of the filter, wherein the cap comprises an aperture that cooperates with the inlet to allow the feed to enter the filter chamber; f) a drive means for rotating the filter; and g) an impeller, wherein the impeller is comprised in the filter chamber; wherein the centrifugal filter unit is configured such that when the impeller rotates, the feed is drawn in to the filter chamber through the inlet and liquid is expelled through the perforations.

La présente invention concerne un ensemble filtre centrifuge pour un appareil, l'appareil étant destiné à être utilisé dans le traitement d'un substrat avec une formulation de traitement, l'ensemble filtre centrifuge comprenant : a) un logement ayant une sortie conçue pour permettre à un filtrat de sortir de l'ensemble filtre centrifuge ; b) un filtre monté en rotation dans le logement, le filtre comprenant une première extrémité à proximité d'une première extrémité du logement, une seconde extrémité à proximité d'une seconde extrémité du logement et une paroi latérale raccordant la première extrémité du filtre et la seconde extrémité du filtre, la première extrémité, la seconde extrémité et la paroi latérale du filtre définissant une chambre de filtre, et la paroi latérale comprenant des perforations conçues pour permettre au liquide de passer et pour empêcher un matériau solide de passer ; c) un couvercle conçu pour rendre étanche sensiblement la première extrémité du logement ; d) une entrée conçue pour permettre à une alimentation d'entrer dans la chambre de filtre ; e) un capuchon au niveau de la première extrémité du filtre, le capuchon comprenant un orifice qui coopère avec l'entrée pour permettre à l'alimentation d'entrer dans la chambre de filtre ; f) un moyen d'entraînement pour mettre le filtre en rotation ; et g) une roue, la roue étant comprise dans la chambre de filtre ; l'ensemble filtre centrifuge étant conçu de telle sorte que, lorsque la roue se met en rotation, l'alimentation est amenée par aspiration dans la chambre de filtre à travers l'entrée et le liquide est expulsé à travers les perforations.
