Abstract
(EN) The present invention provides a projector (100) capable of reducing light loss when light is transmitted through a polarizing element (64) and capable of creating a projection image with desired hues reserved. A projector (100) according to the present invention comprises: a color separation optical system (20) for separating light from a light source into red light, green light, and blue light; optical modulation devices (30R, 30G, 30B) for modulating red light, green light, and blue light in accordance with image information to generate respective image light; a color composite optical system (40) for combining the image light of the modulated red light, green light, and blue light; a projection optical system (50) for projecting image light where the colors are combined; and a phase difference element (62) and the polarizing element (64) provided between the color composite optical system (40) and the projection optical system (50) in order from the color composite optical system side. In this projector (100), the phase difference element (62) aligns the polarization direction of the image light with combined colors in a direction substantially parallel to the transmission-axis of the polarizing element (64).
(FR) La présente invention concerne un projecteur (100) capable de réduire la perte de lumière ayant lieu lorsqu'une lumière est transmise à travers un élément polarisant (64) et de créer une image de projection ayant des teintes souhaitées réservées. Selon la présente invention, un projecteur (100) comprend : un système optique de séparation des couleurs (20) servant à séparer la lumière provenant d'une source de lumière en une lumière rouge, une lumière verte et une lumière bleue ; des dispositifs de modulation optique (30R, 30G, 30B) servant à moduler la lumière rouge, la lumière verte et la lumière bleue conformément à des informations d'image de façon à générer une lumière d'image respective ; un système optique composite de couleur (40) servant à combiner la lumière d'image des lumières rouge, verte et bleue modulées ; un système optique de projection (50) servant à projeter une lumière d'image dans laquelle les couleurs sont combinées ; et un élément de déphasage (62) et l'élément de polarisation (64) disposés entre le système optique composite de couleur (40) et le système optique de projection (50), dans l'ordre à partir du côté du système optique composite de couleur. Dans ce projecteur (100), l'élément de déphasage (62) aligne la direction de polarisation de la lumière d'image avec des couleurs combinées dans une direction en grande partie parallèle à l'axe de transmission de l'élément de polarisation (64).
(JA) 偏光素子(64)を通過することによる光量ロスが少なく、かつ、所望の色相が保持された投影画像を実現し得るプロジェクター(100)が提供される。本発明のプロジェクター(100)は、光源からの光を赤色光、緑色光及び青色光に色分解する色分解光学系(20)と、赤色光、緑色光及び青色光のそれぞれを、画像情報に応じて変調して画像光を生成する光変調装置(30R、30G、30B)と、変調された赤色光、緑色光及び青色光の画像光を色合成する色合成光学系(40)と、色合成された画像光を投射する投射光学系(50)と、色合成光学系(40)と投射光学系(50)との間に、色合成光学系側から順に設けられた位相差素子(62)及び偏光素子(64)と、を備える。本発明のプロジェクター(100)においては、位相差素子(62)により、色合成された画像光の偏光方向が、偏光素子(64)の透過軸方向と実質的に平行な方向に揃えられている。
