Abstract:
(EN) Aspects of the present application provides for enhanced catalytic materials, which can feature multiple functional and/or catalytic species, and methods of their formation. The materials can include catalytic nanoparticles (NPs) partially embedded within a supporting matrix. Treatment of the material, e.g., thermal, optical, microwave, plasma, and/or chemical treatment, can lead to the formation of functionally, e.g., catalytic or co-catalytic, relevant chemical and structural/morphological species or features at the NP-matrix, NP-pore, and matrix-pore interfaces. The treated material is characterized by enhanced properties, e.g., greater mechanical stability.
(FR) Des aspects de la présente invention concernent des matériaux catalytiques améliorés susceptibles de contenir de multiples espèces fonctionnelles et/ou catalytiques et des procédés de formation desdits matériaux. Les matériaux peuvent contenir des nanoparticules catalytiques (NP) partiellement incorporées dans une matrice de support. Le traitement du matériau, par exemple un traitement thermique, optique, à micro-ondes, à plasma et/ou chimique, peut permettre la formation d'espèces ou de caractéristiques chimiques et structurales/morphologiques fonctionnellement pertinentes, par exemple catalytiques ou cocatalytiques, au niveau de la matrice des NP, des pores des NP et des interfaces matrice-pores. Le matériau traité est caractérisé par des propriétés améliorées, par exemple une plus grande stabilité mécanique.
