Abstract:
(EN) Methods and related systems for separating isotopes of an element are provided. The element has at least two isotopic forms. The method includes hyperpolarizing one or more of the isotopic forms in a feedstock, and applying a magnetic field to the target isotopes in order to at least partially spatially separate the isotopic forms of the element from one another.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés et des systèmes connexes pour séparer les isotopes d'un élément. L'élément présente au moins deux formes isotopiques. Le procédé comprend l'hyperpolarisation d'une ou plusieurs des formes isotopiques dans une charge d'alimentation, et l'application d'un champ magnétique aux isotopes cibles afin de séparer au moins partiellement spatialement les formes isotopiques de l'élément les unes des autres.
