Abstract:
(EN) A full body haptic exoskeleton device is disclosed. The device has a tower that has two upper robotic manipulators that connect to arms of a user and two lower robotic manipulators that connect to legs of the user. A control system controls the upper and lower robotic manipulators to provide haptic feedback for a virtual environment as the user traverses the environment.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif exosquelette haptique pour corps complet. Le dispositif comporte une tour qui a deux manipulateurs robotiques supérieurs qui se connectent à des bras d'un utilisateur et deux manipulateurs robotiques inférieurs qui se connectent à des jambes de l'utilisateur. Un système de commande commande les manipulateurs robotiques supérieur et inférieur pour fournir une rétroaction haptique pour un environnement virtuel lorsque l'utilisateur traverse l'environnement.
