Abstract:
(EN) Cancer specific DNA methylation regions have been studied to find cancer specific DNA methylation markers for most common cancers. Differentially methylated regions for individual cancer types were identified and those were further filtered against data from normal tissues to obtain marker regions with cancer specific methylation, resulting in total of 1,250 hypermethylated and 584 hypomethylated marker CpGs. Optimal sets of six markers for each TCGA cancer type that could identify most tumors with high specificity and sensitivity (AUC 0.969-1.00) were chosen from hypermethylated markers and a universal 12 marker set that can detect tumors of all 33 TCGA cancer types (AUC >0.84) was also chosen from hypermethylated markers.
(FR) Des régions de méthylation D'ADN spécifiques au cancer ont été étudiées pour trouver des marqueurs de méthylation d'ADN spécifiques au cancer pour les cancers les plus courants. Des régions méthylées de manière différentielle pour des types de cancer individuels ont été identifiées et celles-ci ont été filtrées davantage par rapport à des données provenant de tissus normaux pour obtenir des régions de marqueur dotées d'une méthylation spécifique au cancer, entraînant un total de 1250 CpG marqueurs hyperméthylés et de 584 CpG marqueurs hypométhylés. Des ensembles optimaux de six marqueurs pour chaque type de cancer du TCGA qui pourraient identifier la plupart des tumeurs avec une spécificité et une sensibilité élevées (ASC 0,969-1,00) ont été choisis parmi les marqueurs hyperméthylés et un ensemble de 12 marqueurs universels qui peuvent détecter des tumeurs de l'ensemble des 33 types de cancer du TCGA (ASC > 0,84) a également été choisi parmi les marqueurs hyperméthylés.
