Abstract:
(EN) A method for inspecting a dental appliance for manufacturing defects may include obtaining images of the dental appliance, identifying an identifier of the dental appliance, determining, from digital files, a digital file associated with the dental appliance based on the identified identifier, the digital file associated with the dental appliance including a digital model of an intermediate component used during manufacture of the dental appliance, determining a intended property for the dental appliance by digitally manipulating the digital model of the intermediate component used during manufacture of the dental appliance, determining an actual property of the dental appliance from the images of the dental appliance, determining whether there is a manufacturing defect in the dental appliance by comparing the intended property for the dental appliance with the actual property of the dental appliance, and outputting an output associated with the determination of whether there is a manufacturing defect.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé d'inspection d'un appareil dentaire à la recherche de défauts de fabrication qui peut consister à obtenir des images de l'appareil dentaire, à identifier un identifiant de l'appareil dentaire, à déterminer, à partir de fichiers numériques, un fichier numérique associé à l'appareil dentaire basé sur l'identifiant identifié, le fichier numérique associé à l'appareil dentaire comprenant un modèle numérique d'un composant intermédiaire utilisé pendant la fabrication de l'appareil dentaire, à déterminer une propriété voulue pour l'appareil dentaire par la manipulation numérique du modèle numérique du composant intermédiaire utilisé pendant la fabrication de l'appareil dentaire, à déterminer une propriété réelle de l'appareil dentaire à partir des images de l'appareil dentaire, à déterminer s'il existe un défaut de fabrication dans l'appareil dentaire par la comparaison de la propriété voulue pour l'appareil dentaire avec la propriété réelle de l'appareil dentaire, et à délivrer une sortie associée à la détermination de la présence ou non d'un défaut de fabrication.
