Abstract:
(EN) Spatial audio upmixing enables mixing spatial sound on a more granular per-channel level than is possible using conventional upmixing. A spatial bed is a multi-channel audio content that represents a complete sound field description, e.g., a virtual sphere of sound, for example surrounding a simulated reality listener in a simulated reality environment. A new spatial bed is generated by combining sections of at least two of such spatial beds. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
(FR) Un mixage élévateur audio spatial permet de mixer un son spatial sur un niveau par canal plus granulaire que ce qui est possible avec un mixage élévateur classique. Un lit spatial est un contenu audio multicanal qui représente une description d'un champ acoustique complet, par exemple une sphère sonore virtuelle entourant par exemple un auditeur de réalité simulée dans un environnement de réalité simulée. Un nouveau lit spatial est généré en combinant des sections d'au moins deux de ces lits spatiaux. D'autres modes de réalisation de la présente invention sont également décrits et revendiqués.
