Abstract:
(EN) In some implementations, a method is provided, including the following operations: receiving, from a controller device, e.g. a game controller device, controller input that identifies a pose of a user's hand; determining a degree of similarity of the controller input to a predefined target input; rendering in a virtual space a virtual hand that corresponds to the controller device, the virtual space being visible for the user via a head mounted device HMD, wherein when the degree of similarity exceeds a predefined threshold, then the virtual hand is rendered so that a pose of the virtual hand conforms to a predefined hand pose, and wherein when the degree of similarity does not exceed the predefined threshold, then the virtual hand is rendered so that the pose of the virtual hand dynamically changes in response to changes in the controller input.
(FR) Selon certaines mises en œuvre, l'invention concerne un procédé, comprenant les opérations suivantes : la réception, à partir d'un dispositif de commande, par ex. d'un dispositif de commande de jeu, d'une entrée du dispositif de commande qui identifie une pose d'une main d'un utilisateur; la détermination d'un degré de similitude de l'entrée du dispositif de commande par rapport à une entrée cible prédéfinie; le rendu dans un espace virtuel d'une main virtuelle qui correspond au dispositif de commande; l'espace virtuel étant visible par l'utilisateur via un casque à réalité virtuelle HMD, lorsque le degré de similitude dépasse un seuil prédéfini, alors la main virtuelle est rendue de telle sorte qu'une pose de la main virtuelle est conforme à une pose de main prédéfinie, et lorsque le degré de similitude ne dépasse pas le seuil prédéfini, alors la main virtuelle est rendue de telle sorte que la pose de la main virtuelle change de façon dynamique en réponse à des changements de l'entrée de dispositif de commande.
