Abstract:
(EN) An apparatus includes an ultrasonic sensor array and a sensor controller. The sensor array includes a plurality of ultrasonic sensor pixels, each sensor pixel including an ultrasonic receiver and a receiver bias electrode and being operable in one or both of a transmit mode of operation or a read mode of operation. The sensor controller is electrically coupled with the receiver bias electrodes. The sensor controller is configured to set, at each sensor pixel, a range gate window (RGW) by modulating a bias voltage applied to the receiver bias electrode and to set, for a first portion of the ultrasonic sensor pixels, a first RGW. The sensor controller is configured to set, for a second portion of the ultrasonic sensor pixels, a second RGW, and establish a first temporal delay between the first RGW and the second RGW.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil qui comprend un réseau de capteurs à ultrasons et un contrôleur de capteur. Le réseau de capteurs comprend une pluralité de pixels de capteur à ultrasons, chaque pixel de capteur comprenant un récepteur à ultrasons et une électrode de polarisation de récepteur et pouvant fonctionner dans l'un ou dans les deux modes de fonctionnement parmi un mode de fonctionnement de transmission et un mode de fonctionnement de lecture. Le contrôleur de capteur est électriquement couplé aux électrodes de polarisation de récepteur. Le contrôleur de capteur est configuré pour régler, au niveau de chaque pixel de capteur, une fenêtre de grille de plage (RGW) par modulation d'une tension de polarisation appliquée à l'électrode de polarisation de récepteur et pour régler, pour une première partie des pixels de capteur à ultrasons, une première RGW. Le contrôleur de capteur est configuré pour régler, pour une seconde partie des pixels de capteur à ultrasons, une seconde RGW, et établir un premier retard temporel entre la première RGW et la seconde RGW.
