Abstract:
(EN) Described are examples for synchronizing multiple timing sources in a computing device. At least a first clock associated with a first timing source and a second clock associated with a second timing source can be maintained at the computing device. A request for an indication of a difference in values between the first clock and the second clock can be received from the application. A first elapsed time of the first clock and a second elapsed time of the second clock from a previous instance of an event can be determined by the computing device at an instance of a reoccurring event in a domain of one of the first timing source or the second timing source. An indication related to the first elapsed time and the second elapsed time can be provided to the application.
(FR) L'invention concerne des exemples de synchronisation de multiples sources de temporisation dans un dispositif informatique. Au moins une première horloge associée à une première source de temporisation et une seconde horloge associée à une seconde source de temporisation peuvent être maintenues au niveau du dispositif informatique. Une demande d'indication d'une différence de valeurs entre la première horloge et la seconde horloge peut être reçue de l'application. Un premier temps écoulé de la première horloge et un second temps écoulé de la seconde horloge à partir de l'occurrence précédente d'un événement peuvent être déterminés par le dispositif informatique au moment d'une occurrence d'un événement récurrent se produisant dans un domaine de la première source de synchronisation ou de la seconde source de synchronisation. Une indication associée au premier temps écoulé et au second temps écoulé peut être fournie à l'application.
