Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to the field of preparing esters of terephthalic acid, used as plasticizers for the manufacture of plasticizers for polyvinyl chloride plastic materials. The invention discloses a method according to which the step of esterification of the acid with an alcohol comprises the use of two catalysts of different nature, in particular a metal-containing catalyst and an acid catalyst, which are added sequentially. The technical result of the present invention is to increase conversion of terephthalic acid up to 100% and to reduce the amount of by-products formed during the production of a dicarboxylic acid ester. The obtained ester is characterized by a low acid number and a low value of color.
(FR) La présente invention se rapporte au domaine de la préparation d'esters d'acide téréphtalique, utilisés en tant que plastifiants destinés à être utilisés dans la fabrication de plastifiants pour des matières plastiques à base de polychlorure de vinyle. L'invention concerne un procédé selon lequel l'étape d'estérification de l'acide avec un alcool comprend l'utilisation de deux catalyseurs de nature différente, en particulier un catalyseur contenant du métal et un catalyseur acide, qui sont ajoutés de manière séquentielle. Le résultat technique de la présente invention est caractérisé par l'augmentation de la conversion de l'acide téréphtalique jusqu'à 100 % et la réduction de la quantité de sous-produits formés pendant la production d'un ester d'acide dicarboxylique. L'ester obtenu est caractérisé par un faible indice d'acide ainsi qu'une faible valeur de couleur.
