A relief seat member (85) is provided on the opposite side of the intermediate member (81) from the pressurizing chamber (200), the relief seat member (85) having a relief hole (87) for providing communication between the surface of the relief seat member (85), which faces the pressurizing chamber (200), and the surface of the relief seat member (85), which faces away from the pressurizing chamber (200), the relief seat member (85) also having a second flow passage (89) for providing communication between the surface of the relief seat member (85), which faces the pressurizing chamber (200), and the surface of the relief seat member (85), which faces away from the pressurizing chamber (200). The intermediate member (81) has an annular groove (800) which is formed annularly in the intermediate member (81) at the interface between the intermediate member (81) and the relief seat member (85), and which connects the first flow passage (83) and the second flow passage (89).
