Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a conical roller bearing that has excellent galling resistance, and that has a long life and high durability. In this conical roller bearing, at least any one of an outer ring (11), an inner ring (13), and a plurality of conical rollers (12) includes a nitrogen-enriched layer (11B, 12B, 13B). In a large-end face (16) of each of the conical rollers (12), the difference between the maximum value and minimum value of arithmetic mean roughness Ra of a circumferential surface region in contact with a large flange face (18) is 0.02 μm or less. The value of a ratio R/RBASE between a set radius of curvature R and a distance RBASE is 0.75 or more and 0.87 or less, where R is the set radius of curvature of the large-end face (16) of each of the conical rollers (12), and RBASE is the distance from the apex point of the conical angle of each of the conical rollers (12) to the large flange face (18) of the inner ring (13). A ratio Rprocess/R between an actual radius of curvature Rprocess and a set radius of curvature R is 0.5 or more, where Rprocess is the actual radius of curvature of the large-end face (16) of each of the conical rollers (12) after grinding.
